Uh!! Flu season is never easy for many people!! I feel your pain!! The best way to fight flue is PREVENTION PREVENTION PREVENTION!! It is soo important that we have this SELF-AWARENESS!!! i had flue few weeks ago which took me almost 1 week to recover.
I used to get flu shots few years in the row but stopped it cause flue shots don't really cover all viruses. Just my understanding. I could be deadly wrong. Please follow your health professional suggestions. I believe flu shots are very useful for seniors, younger kids and people who have much weaker immune system. I prefer my own immune sys gets stronger enough to fight all viruses instead of relying on on flu shots. So here's what I do to help improve my own immune system-
It's really EASY to do: I drink Ginger Jasmine Green Tea EVERY SINGLE DAY!! OR if you don't have the tea, eat 1 slice of fresh ginger every morning will do the same trick!! Yes, that's right!!! It's that simple!!! This is the EASIEST while the BEST way to stay healthy-either cups of ginger tea or 1 piece of ginger will help build strong immune system to fight for flu!!
You don't want to dink ginger jasmine green tea AFTER you get the flu already. It still will help but that's not the BEST scenario. You want to either not have flu in the first place by avoiding going to very populated places during flu season or have a very strong immune system OR fix it quickly if you get flu. That's why building a strong immune system is the key here! Our immune system is our natural firefighter that we can be born with or build later! Medicine, flu shots, supplements should be used only when necessary. That's just my opinion! I'm a firm believer of FOOD IS MEDICINE, not another way around! no doubt!!
