We are different for the following reasons:

Products-Authenticity and source directly from tea plantation. We work with national tea scientists, professors and professionals from sourcing to production to guarantee the authenticity of the products we provide.

  1. Packaging-assembled in the US. All our products' packaging is hand crafted and finalized in the US. Every packaging is unique, with a lot of love and care.
  2. People behind: We pay premium to get our products manufactured by tea experts and tea masters. This also helps us to maintain high quality and consistency of our final products. There are a couple of reasons we hire tea experts:
    1. Processing time: This is one of the key factors in manufacturing process that determines the quality of our products. When blooming tea is processed in a long time, the flowers would change to brown color. Jasmine flowers should always be white. Lily flowers should be red or red orange color. It could also generate odder which will damage the taste of tea.
    2. Sewing skills: All our blooming teas are made with baby tea leaves, or tea tips. They are very tender, fragile and short. It requires months or years of training to make perfect blooming teas. How to make sure all our blooming teas will unfold perfectly, and properly sink at the bottom of teapots, etc these have been tested for years.
    3. They are treasures in tea industry. Tea processing is very labor intensive. This is particular true in China. From leaf picking to withering and rolling, highly skilled labors are necessary to produce high quality tea. Many tea experts find well-paid jobs in the nearby cities and leave the industry. This is reality. We want to keep them in tea fields so that they can pass their skills to the next generation.
    4. Materials used: All loose tea leaves, flowers and herbs are sourced from either well-known locations or reputed suppliers for the best quality. This can be proved by the display of our blooming tea products: silver needle tips are whole tips, tea liquor is crystal clear, the colors of flowers in water are bright, the aroma of tea is refreshing.
    5. Storage: Factors that will deteriorate tea's quality are lights, heat, humidity, packaging and time.
      1. We have designated equipment to keep our teas in dry and low temperature and enclosed environment.
      2. Our packaging is also well selected. The best packaging for tea from storage perspective is paper board. In old times, all teas were packaged with paper products. Paper products can absorb the moisture in the air. They also allow air exchange to keep tea under dry condition. This will prevent generating any mold in tea.
Quality and safety control:

We work with an internationally well-know tea lab and SGS for tea quality control. All our teas are tested by a national tea lab and SGS, the leading international testing and inspection company. We do double testing, one is done at a national lab level. Another testing is done by SGS. We even take a further step on testing by requesting multiple testing items. Many companies only test 15 items, we test over 100 items.
